Stocks Freefall After False Reports of Explosions at White House, President Injured


The Associated Press confirmed its Twitter account has been hacked, as the Twitter feed falsely tweeted there had been two explosions at the White House and President Barack Obama was injured. Around 1:07 p.m., the official Associated Press Twitter account tweeted news about two explosions at the White House and that President Barack Obama was injured. Sam Hananel, an AP writer, confirmed via his personal Twitter account the @AP Twitter account had been hacked.
